Music and sports cross paths often, as is illustrated by our National Anthem sung before most athletic events and the huge popularity of halftime during the NFL’s Super Bowl. I mention this because, as I sit here watching the Olympics, I realize we are all blessed to live where we can even read this, but if we choose, sit down behind a drum kit and spend time doing what we love … being a drummer and musician.
